Final registration decrees, 1898-1972.

The Land Court is responsible for registration of titles to real estate and related matters. Final registration decrees record description of land as determined by the court; set forth the estate of the owner; and put forth all particular estates, mortgates, easements, liens, attachments and other encumbrances, including the rights of the husband or wife, to which the land or the owner's estate is subject (MGLA c 185, s 47).
